Media Release : Traffic Announcement Road Closures And Traffic Diversions On Jalan Langat, Johan Setia, Klang From 24 July 2023 To 31 October 2023

KUALA LUMPUR – 21 JULY 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat, Klang (heading towards Banting after the KESAS Pandamaran Interchange, both bounds) to facilitate crossing culvert construction and LRT3 project-related works from 24 July 2023 to 31 October 2023, 24 hours daily. The closures will be implemented in four (4) stages as indicated below:

Stage 1: During the closure, three (3) lanes will be made available for motorists from KESAS/Klang heading towards Banting. One (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading Jalan Johan Setia 1 from Jalan Langat as shown in the map below:

Stage 2: During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from KESAS/Klang heading towards Banting. One (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading Jalan Johan Setia 1 from Jalan Langat as shown in the map below:

Stage 3: During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from KESAS/Klang heading towards Banting. One (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading Jalan Johan Setia 1 from Jalan Langat. Motorists from Banting heading towards Klang/KESAS will be diverted to the three (3) lanes on the opposite of Jalan Langat (Banting-bound) as shown in the map below:

Stage 4: Upon reinstatement of the lanes on Jalan Langat (both bounds), one (1) lane will remain available for motorists heading towards Jalan Johan Setia 1 from Jalan Langat as shown in the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from IPD Klang Selatan (PDRM), Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang), Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK).
