KUALA LUMPUR – 29 MAY 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be continuation of lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) near KM 14.1 (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound & Shah Alam / Subang-Bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related from 1 June 2023 to 31 August 2023 (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:
Stage 1: The rightmost lane and middle lane (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) will be closed from 1 June 2023 to 15 June 2023.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh as indicated on the map below:
Stage 2: The rightmost lane and the middle lane on both bounds will be closed from 16 June 2023 to 30 June 2023.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound and Shah Alam / Subang-bound as indicated on the map below:
Stage 3: The leftmost lane and the middle lane (Kuala Lumpur / Subang Toll-bound) will be closed from 1 July 2023 to 15 July 2023.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Subang toll.
Stage 4: The leftmost lane and slow lane (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) will be closed from 16 July 2023 to 31 July 2023.
During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh as indicated on the map below:
Stage 5: The leftmost lane, slow lane and middle lane (Kuala Lumpur / Shah Alam-bound) will be closed from 1 August 2023 to 31 August 2023.
During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Shah Alam as indicated on the map below:
The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS).
