Media Release : Road Closure And Traffic Diversions on Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang From 27 December 2022 to 31 December 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 23 DECEMBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be an intermittent road closure and traffic diversions along Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang from opposite the Acmar Development to BHP (Grand Sepadu Highway-bound) to facilitate escalator launching and LRT3-project related works from 27 December 2022 to 31 December 2022 (Tuesday to Saturday), 10.00pm to 5.00am.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated below:

• Motorists from the Selat Klang Highway heading towards the Grand Sepadu Highway along Persiaran Bukit Raja will be diverted to Persiaran Bukit Raja 1, Jalan Undan Putih and Persiaran Rajawali before heading back on to Persiaran Bukit Raja.
• Motorists from the Grand Sepadu Highway heading towards the Selat Klang Highway will be diverted to the left most lane along Persiaran Bukit Raja.
• Motorists from BBK Heights heading towards Selat Klang Highway will be diverted via contra-flow traffic along Persiaran Bukit Raja.
• Motorists from BBK Heights heading towards Grand Sepadu Highway will be diverted via contra-flow traffic towards Persiaran Bukit Raja 1, Jalan Undan Putih and Persiaran Rajawali before heading back on to Persiaran Bukit Raja.
• Minimum one (1) lane will be made available for motorists at any of the diversions.

The road closure and traffic diversions are as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Klang Municipal Council (MPK).
