Media Release: Road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Mahogani, Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 and Jalan Langat (Banting-bound), Klang to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 2 November 2022 to 31 December 2022

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 OCTOBER 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Mahogani, Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 and Jalan Langat (Banting-bound), Klang to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 2 November 2022 to 31 December 2022, (Monday to Sunday) from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

• Motorists from Jalan Mahogani heading towards Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 will be diverted onto Jalan Langat, make a U-turn at the traffic light junctions towards Klang-bound, turn left onto Persiaran Botanik, head straight on Persiaran Batu Nilam 16 before turning left onto Persiaran Batu Nilam 1.
• Motorists from Banting heading towards Klang-bound will be diverted onto Jalan Langat middle lane and head straight towards Klang.
• Motorist from Klang heading towards Persiaran Batu Nilam 1 will be diverted onto Jalan Langat, make a U-turn at the traffic light junctions towards Klang-bound, turn left onto Persiaran Botanik, head straight on Persiaran Batu Nilam 16 before turning left onto Persiaran Batu Nilam 1.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK) and Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang).
