November 6, 2021Media Release: Road closure and traffic diversions on Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang (between Jalan Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 and Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 junctions, Klang and Federal Highway 2- bound) from 10 November 2021 to 15 November 2021
SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 6 November 2021: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK)), wishes to inform that there will be road closure and traffic diversions on Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang (between Jalan Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 and Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 junctions, Klang and Federal Highway 2- bound) to facilitate U-girder launching works for the LRT3 project from 10 November 2021 to 15 November 2021 (Monday to Sunday), from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:
- Motorists from Federal Highway 2 heading towards Klang will be diverted onto Persiaran Bukit Raja 2, Persiaran Bukit Raja 1 and turn left before heading to Klang.
- Motorists from Persiaran Bukit Raja heading towards Federal Highway 2 will be diverted onto Persiaran Bukit Raja 1, Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 and turn right before heading to Federal Highway 2.
- Motorists on Jalan Tiara 1 heading towards Federal Highway 2 will be diverted onto Jalan Tiara 2, Persiaran Bukit Raja 1, Persiaran Bukit Raja 2 and turn right before heading to Federal Highway 2.
The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4 period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works.
