SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 2 OCTOBER 2019: MRCB George Kent, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions to facilitate utilities relocation, road widening, pier column construction and guideway launching works for the LRT3 project on Persiaran Kerjaya (both Shah Alam-bound and Kuala Lumpur/Subang-bound) from 5 October 2019 to 4 January 2020 (Monday to Saturday), 9:00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
The closures will be implemented in stages, and each stage will be conducted concurrently starting from the median strip between DRB Hicom and Masjid An-Nur Temasya until the median strip and left lane on Persiaran Kerjaya in front of Accentra Glenmarie.
Stage 1 until Stage 5
The road closures from Temasya 8 to Masjid An-Nur Temasya are to facilitate pier column construction works and guideway launching works at the median strip.
Stage 6
There will be a lane closure in front of Accentra Glenmarie. The lane diversion from the slip road on Jalan Presiden U1/1 until Accentra Glenmarie is to facilitate utilities relocation and road widening works.
