Traffic Announcement: Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions on Federal Highway, (Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bounds) from 23 August 2024 to 27 October 2024

KUALA LUMPUR – 20 AUGUST 2024: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent lane closures and traffic diversions on Federal Highway, opposite Petronas and Shell petrol stations (Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bounds) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 23 August 2024 to 27 October 2024 (Friday to Sunday), from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. via the following closures:

Closure A: The left most and middle-lanes of Federal Highway (Klang-bound) will be closed. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists as shown in the map below:   

Closure B: The fast-lanes on Federal Highway, (Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bounds) will be closed. During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on both bounds as shown in the map below:  

Closure C: The left most and middle-lanes of Federal Highway (KL-bound) will be closed. During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists as shown in the map below:

At one time, only one (1) closure will be implemented. Highway users are advised to follow the diversion signs posted.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR).
