Traffic Announcement: Road Closures and Traffic Diversions on Jalan Batu Nilam, Klang from 13 July 2024 to 25 August 2024

KUALA LUMPUR – 13 JULY 2024: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Batu Nilam (in between Lotus’s and Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tinggi), Klang to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 13 July 2024 to 25 August 2024 (Monday to Sunday), 24 hours. The road will be closed in following stages:

Stage 1: The lanes on Jalan Batu Nilam (in front of Lotus’s Klang, Jalan Langat-bound) will be closed from 13 July 2024 to 31 July 2024.

During the closures motorists heading towards Sek. Keb Bukit Tinggi Klang will be diverted onto the opposite side of the road via contra flow traffic as indicated on the map below:

Stage 2: The lanes on Jalan Batu Nilam, (beside Lotus’s Klang entrance) will be closed from 31 July 2024 to 7 August 2024.

During the closures, motorists heading towards Sek Keb Bukit Tinggi Klang will be diverted onto the opposite side of the road via contra flow traffic as indicated on the map below:

Stage 3: The right-lane on Jalan Batu Nilam (before Lotus’s Klang entrance) will be closed from 7 August 2024 to 14 August 2024.

During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading towards Sek. Keb Bukit Tinggi as indicated on the map below:

Stage 4: The right-lane on Jalan Batu Nilam (Lebuh Batu Nilam-bound) will be closed from 14 August 2024 to 17 August 2024.

During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading towards Lebuh Batu Nilam as indicated on the map below:

Stage 5: The left-lane on Jalan Batu Nilam (Lebuh Batu Nilam-bound) will be closed from 17 August 2024 to 21 August 2024.

During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading towards Lebuh Batu Nilam as indicated on the map below:

Stage 6: The right-lane on Jalan Batu Nilam 6 will be closed from 21 August 2024 to 25 August 2024.

During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available for motorists as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK).
